This distinction, awarded each year to only 15 percent of nursing homes throughout the country, is the most comprehensive performance evaluation of skilled nursing centers in the U.S. and is earned by those that exceed a range of key proficiency and consistency benchmarks, including quality of medical care, health inspections, nurse staffing and CMS star rating.
