Expert: Housing needs will change with aging population

MURFREESBORO – The United States will be hit by a “gray tsunami” in the next 20 years, and businesses are preparing for the hit now, an executive at Murfreesboro-based National Health Care said recently. “We are preparing for it very deliberately,” Gerald Coggin, NHC senior vice president of ancillary services and corporate relations, said about the nation’s rapidly aging population.
